Food for Thought Friday

This week I am going to share a really yummy recipe that our family loves. It is super easy and can be done in the crock pot or on the stove top. As you know, I am all about easy and this fits the bill.

Taco Soup

1 1b. ground beef
onion, chopped
brown and drain, combine in pan or crock pot with:

1 can kidney beans
1 can tomatoes
1 can corn
1 can tomato soup
1 pkg. taco seasoning

Serve with grated cheese, taco chips and sour cream.

Just a note: beans, tomatoes and corn are put in with the liquid included.
This recipe can easily be doubled.

What a good idea to do it in the crock pit. I do something similar but in a pan or wok. I will try that one soon. Thanks xx

  8. We have that almost every week. I cook it in my big ol crock pot. Mine is a little different. I add a pkg of dry Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning along with the taco seasoning. It gives it that cool kick!!
