My favorite costum (but not as a child) was for Carneval. I dressed up "gothic". All in black, with mini skirt, white face, heavy underlined eyes with green eyeshadows and around the neck chaines with skulls. Wouldn't that have been a nice costum for Halloween ?Gattinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06636525277807715146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32970638.post-1162258174778163272006-10-30T18:29:00.000-07:002006-10-30T18:29:00.000-07:00Man, I don't like to decorate much, either. They're a little, teensy weensy bit dissapointed to not be storm troopers, but they're very excited to be dressing up army style like their Daddy. ;)Chaotic Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15917862364050793777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32970638.post-1162257544795718222006-10-30T18:19:00.000-07:002006-10-30T18:19:00.000-07:00Ahhhh... this is GREAT! I think our hubs are very similar in this area -- I couldn't get mine into ANY costume -- even if I offered him dracula ... or Hugh Heffner... *sigh* ... it's sad. Now, thankfully, I remember little about it.

Since my kids are at the age we choose a family night out instead of trick or treating, we go the day AFTER Halloween and load up on all things CHOCOLATE (for me and my daughter) and SOUR (for my boys). 1/2 price sure beats full :).

Thanks for carnivaling with the chicks this week!Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03591733577488673442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32970638.post-1162183398012573112006-10-29T21:43:00.000-07:002006-10-29T21:43:00.000-07:00Perhaps an older brother perspective on a couple o...Perhaps an older brother perspective on a couple of these:

1) I fondly recall when we went as a family to see Raiders of the Lost Ark at the theater. I had seen it before that evening so I knew where the startling parts were. I sat next to the Goddess on this viewing, and when we got to the part where Indy and the Karen Allen character are blocked up into the underground chamber where all the snakes were, and she gets "attacked" by corpses, I gave the Goddess a poke at just the right moment and got a good scream out of her. I quite enjoyed that.

2) I have a picture somewhere of the Goddess as a witch. I think I was a pirate in that one. As a small kid, the Goddess had Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls that Mom had made for her. She loved those. That's why she wants to be that for question 3. :)Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03699751175612528665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32970638.post-1162183131201915632006-10-29T21:38:00.000-07:002006-10-29T21:38:00.000-07:00Oh Karmyn is a worse wuss than her mom.
