She is 5'9", 165 lbs and a size 12. They call that plus sized?! She looked great to me, curvy and feminine, not at all what I would consider plus sized. If they run one more article about how quickly celebrities lose weight after pregnancy I think I'll scream.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32970638.post-1158539260306147462006-09-17T18:27:00.000-06:002006-09-17T18:27:00.000-06:00When I got married I was 5'10" and 105 lbs. At that time that was what my body looked liked naturally. I wasn't curveless. My husband found my figure very appealing.

What I hate about the skinny figure type...MY figure type...is that it's assumed I'm vain or mentally ill. I've been followed to restrooms in restaurants, by restaurant staff or other patrons, to make sure I don't upchuck the meal I just ate. I had one woman harrassing me about my "illness" in a mall escorted out by security. I've been accused of using meth. I've been told that I couldn't have possibly given birth to healthy babies. It's insulting.

Do I agree that all models must be rail thin? Because I'm a seamstress who has sewn for many body types, my vote goes to no. It is unrealistic when you consider most people wearing clothing aren't my extreme body type. I just can't go along with the skinny stereotyping because for most of us it's just untrue. It's no more right than the fat stereotyping that goes on just as much... more. I want my inner beauty seen as well!

Just my two cents which you are free to do with what you will. I got here from blogexplosion.

Thanks for letting me comment. The Absent Minded Housewifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14367710044518218570noreply@blogger.com
